This day last month, was a day that changed one person's life not just a tiny bit. A day where two souls were united in the most sacred way they could think of, hoping hard to endlessly be showered with the blessings of Allah The Sole Creator of the Universe, commended with jubilant approval from both families in an acceptably decent ceremony. No single entity on earth would be in any way more superior in value than the above- they believed, ever believe.
This day last month, was a day that honoured the human nature of wanting to get together, in such a way that connects two souls boy and girl no next-of-kin in the most divine way it could possibly be. A celestial knot was weaved which wouldn't wish to be unbound, come humps and bumps or whatever whenever. InsyaAllah. With the aim to attain mardhotillah, the day served as a stepping stone for them in treading their way towards the promised paradise. A promise made for those who endeavour. A reward of no equivalent nor competitor in its magnificence.
And that was the 7th of June 2011, the day where I got married to a wonderful person, you know who you are. Alhamdulillah.
While still finding my way along this new title of 'Mrs', I can't afford to deny the remarkable feeling of being sort of 'upgraded' in my status. I am so thankful having given the opportunity to follow the sunnah of the Prophet pbuh of getting married, as well as realising the augmentation of the reward of doing good deeds that we now receive, such as in the obligatory daily prayers. All praises be to no other than Him alone.
From an ordinary human being point of view a month of marriage feels so pleasantly long that I partially couldn't fully imagine or better put, recall what my life was like without my significant other far before these all began. Those single-life experiences quickly take off from my memory bit by bit which makes not having him around feels quite peculiar. Clearly, he has become an utterly imperative part of my life. His advent into my life has made it ever more complete. Thank you dear.
New things are encountered on a regular basis which makes life more interesting depending on the way we interpret them. May Allah give us relentless strength to persevere in whatever that comes before us, grant us a wonderful family of our own in the path of Islam and make us always look forward to grow old with each other each second without fail. InsyaAllah.
Thank you Allah for all the incredible bounties that you bestow upon us.
Happy Monthiversary, abang! ;)
