Today my husband and I together with the baby left the house early in the morning to register a MyKid for Maryam. Pity Maryam we had to wake her up from her deep sleep to get her bathed and dressed. Alhamdulillah there was not too many people on the queue, we got attended to almost instantaneously. However when we got there we were told that Maryam's birth has not yet been registered into the system by the Malaysian Embassy Dublin, whom we got her birth certificate from. That was done by us in the embassy like, about 4 months ago!

We were told to wait till the name is entered into the system, then only we can apply for a MyKid for Maryam. They'll ring us to inform or the other way round. Well oh well! 

And you know what, my husband then decided that probably we could sort out our MyKad instead, as we both hadn't renewed our MyKad into the latest version. Isn't that called killing two birds with one stone?

Our new MyKad shall be ready in the next 3 days, Maryam's MyKid? Hope it'll not take too long!
