InsyaAllah today will be my last day in Eire for this year, at the tips of my 1st academic year in Galway. And i have moved into my new house, not staying in Dunaras anymore. My new add; 11 Sylvan Avenue, Fairlands Park, Newcastle, Galway, Ireland. My feelings to be home? A smidge of nervousness, a smidge of excitement, a smidge of almost every feeling. Not to neglect, a smidge of don't-wanna-go-home feeling. Sarah doesn't wanna go home? No, not literally. I am perhaps dread to get myself in the moment where i have to fly back to Eire and leave Malaysia, this Aug 31 insyaAllah. To spend another year in a country of a different continent across the oceans of the earth which seems to be so far far away.
I am also not very sure of what to expect to be back in my home country, after leaving it for nearly a year. It's absolutely true that it is when we get ourselves out of the box that we can see more clearly on what's going on with something, it's not impossible but rather harder to see in when we're in the box itself. *what sort of a sentence is this?* I mean I've learnt so much when i'm here in Ireland. Little by little it helps me to improve myself in various aspects of life, be it independence, friendship, et cetera, et cetera, but most importantly in my religion, Islam. I was taught (or apparently "taught" is not the best word for this, it actually means "being made to realize" as it's sometimes something not that u don't know but u didn't notice i.e the importance of being out of the box) to understand the actual history of Islam, probably have been deceived in the History Textbooks in school, and then the primary aim and role in life.
What am i gonna do when i get home? Anxious to see what one year has changed Malaysia. (Is it just from the how-developed-Malaysia-is perspective, solely?) Then what am i meant to do, stand up and boo? No, get things into action, into practical, insyaAllah, O Allah please give me the strength to be one of the bricks that later could build an impressive skyscraper. Amin.
And one more thing, gotta finish this book "Apa Ertinya Saya Menganut Islam?" (What does it mean when i embrace Islam?) and next, a huge decision to be made. A decision that shouldn't be made with the power of acknowledgment, friendship, selfishness or just first-come-first-served basis. O Allah please guide me to give the best of myself and choose the one that is best for everyone, for the religion.
Anyhoo, haven't mentioned before that i'm apparently not going back straight away to Malaysia but am visiting a couple of Middle East's countries namely Egypt, Syria and Jordan, insyaAllah. An 18-day trip in which i hope i can maximize its benefit to the fullest. Lemme tell u the itinerary. Tomorrow at around 6am me and my 2 other friends have chartered a taxi to get us to the Galway City Centre. We'll then take a bus to Dublin Airport, which would be approx. a 4-hours-journey. Then we'll fly off to Cairo, Egypt departing at approx. 1pm with a transit in Czech Republic for about 4-5 hours. Then our "Following the steps of the Prophets" journey will continue in the Middle East. Then on June 17 we're heading off to Malaysia with a transit in Bahrain. Gonna take a domestic flight from KLIA to Kuantan where my family will fetch(this word is not used by Irish) me home. Yay! I'm back!
However the above are all plans, only Him will determine our Qada' and Qadar but never stop to hope and pray for the best for us. And to all this blog readers (if there's any), i would like to say my apology and please halalkan everything.. and pray for our safe journey. Many thanks. =)
