Well well well insyaAllah today I'm about to sit for our final paper of this Winter Exam at 10am. Last but not least, certainly. I have to make this entry quick as the exam is just about 3 hours away.
By the by I was introduced to this video this morning, which I can't help myself from wanting to share it with you guys. Have a look!
Now you've seen that simply from our sight an array of things can happen in our body, particularly in men which is of my concern here. And that may be the explanation that you will find if you can't appreciate why on earth do the Muslim girls need to cover up when they're outside in public.
It's sunnatullah, the biological mechanisms and all those cascades will naturally take place whenever our eyes catch something we find alluring. So all those cover-ups are meant to avoid such 'alluring' images from being captured and processed in the brain of men; which may in some cases result in incidences we don't want to happen. Because women are beatiful, aren't we? :P
Most importantly the obligation to wear hijab comes from our God i.e it's syariatullah. His decree is the command that we shall not deny, since we admit that He owns us because He's the one who created us.

"And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands’ fathers, their sons, their husbands’ sons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons, their sisters’ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed. "[An-Nur, 24:31]
